# Morgan Sage Norman

Morgan Sage Norman is a creative strategist, the author of The Corporate Artist: The Art of Working Beautifully, and the creator of the Lyra research project.

He has spent more than twenty years building teams, brands, and technology companies, and has led marketing at companies including Dialpad, Cohere, PolyAI, and Zuora.

For more than fifteen years, Morgan has coached people through this way of approaching work and creativity. The book brings together a continuing inquiry into the characters people play, the craft they practise, and the conditions in which they create with others.

Across his working life, he has returned to a question: how do people do work they are proud of while preserving the part of themselves that makes it worth doing?

The Corporate Artist gives that question the form of a field manual. Lyra extends a related inquiry into AI.

Morgan approached Lyra as a creative strategist. Finding conventional ways of working with AI draining, he began exploring a different relationship with the medium—one with more room for attention, discovery, and co-creation.

The book and the research are different expressions of that continuing interest in working beautifully.
