Morgan Sage Norman
Author of The Corporate Artist
Raised by artists. Shaped by the work.
Morgan is a creative strategist who has spent more than twenty years building teams, brands and technology companies, including as a CMO and chief creative officer.
Across that work, he kept coming back to a question: how do people do work they’re proud of while keeping the part of themselves that makes it worth doing?
“This book was not written from a place of mastery. It was written from the edge.”
The Corporate Artist · Prologue, p. 9
Why this book.
The Expert who always had to have the answer. The campaign he kept to himself until someone else helped it come alive. The review where a question about the room mattered more than another slide.
The book grows out of those experiences. It explores the characters and beliefs we bring to work, what energizes us and what drains us, and how to make room for more of our creative selves.
It is an invitation to recognise your craft, work with fear, co-create with others, and protect what makes the work feel alive.
Where the name came from.
At the family table, Morgan was trying to explain his job to his brother, a rescue helicopter pilot. “Marketing” got a blank look. The word meant nothing to him, and in that moment not much to Morgan either. He paused, and it came out of his mouth: “I’m a corporate artist.” It stuck, because it was true, and because nobody had said it before.
Let’s connect.
